Strength in Stillness

For almost 40 years I have practiced TM Transcendental Meditation and I recently took a refresher course. TM has been a big part of my maintenance routine for so long because it helps me combat anxiety and increases my focus.

When I was 9 years old I had the good fortune of leaning walking TM and quickly fell I love with it. Kids under 9 do walking then at 10 you begin sitting meditation and receive a new mantra. I skipped this part and used my walking mantra for a very long time so when I took the refresher course they gave me a new mantra.

Now I mediate twice a day for 20 minutes with the new mantra and it has improved my meditation.
